Nigerian airline orders two 747-8IsThe News Tribune 2011-10-07 18:41:23Arik Air today announced it has ordered two Boeing 747-8 Intercontinentals worth some $635 million at list prices. Nigeria's Arik Air is the third airline to order the slow-selling new passenger version of classic jumbo jet. Arik Air will use the 747-8s on its three long-haul routes. Total orders for the updated 747-8 stand at 111, 75 of which are freighters. The first freighter is to be delivered to CargoLux next week.
