Japan Airlines orders more Boeing DreamlinersThe News Tribune 2012-02-15 22:42:10Japan Airlines today ordered 10 more 787 Dreamliners from Boeing and converted existing orders for 10 787-8 Dreamliners into orders for the larger 787-9 Dreamliner. The 787-8, the basic 787-8 Dreamliner now in production, carries up to 250 passengers in a mixed-class configuration. The 787-9, which is still being designed, will carry up to 40 more passengers. The latest orders from JAL bring total JAL Dreamliner orders to 25 787-8s and 20 787-9s. The airline holds order options for 20 more of each type.
