Alaska Airlines adding two cities to East Coast repertoire

Sea-Tac's Alaska Airlines is adding two cities and subtracting one from its repertoire of East Coast cities it serves from the Puget Sound area. The airline announced this morning it will begin serving Philadelphia June 11 and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on July 16. The airline will end service to Miami at the same time. Alaska has served Miami since 2002. Before 2001, the nation's seventh largest airline had confined its route structure to the West Coast, Alaska and Mexico.
